“After one session with Liz for my severely arthritic knees,
the swelling is considerably reduced and the movement is improved.
I’m looking forward to future massage with confidence”.

MFR is the key to unlocking chronic tension built up over time. Fascia is a thin sheath encapsulating cells, muscles, organs, in fact our whole body. It has a memory and once unlocked can open pathways for deeper massage effectiveness.
MFR can be incorporated in treatments where appropriate prior to and during trigger point therapy. A complete body realignment fascia release may be recommended over 4-5 sessions realigning fascial lines with myofascial structural integration.
TPT is an effective method to identify adhesion points in muscle fibres which may be directly or even indirectly causing pain around the body. Communication with the therapist enables any discomfort from this technique to be therapeutic and effective.
STR, Stretching and PNF techniques prove invaluable to release tension, strengthen and lengthen muscles and will be used where appropriate.
GP, Chiropractic/Osteopathic referrals welcome. GP permission may be required, please discuss appropriateness.
What to expect in clinical treatment…
Completion of health questionnaire, discussion about your condition, how it affects day to day life at work & home, operations, injuries, treatments previously or currently receiving & what your goal is.
Orthopedic Testing may be performed to isolate & identify muscle, tendon & joint response to assist treatment plan.
Body Reading is important to assess posture, please wear under garments you feel comfortable standing in. Treatment may be targeted to region e.g. hip & pelvis, shoulder girdle, treatment may address above & below target area due to myofascial connections & trigger point pain referral patterns.
Discomfort may be experienced during treatment. Working together we will work within your range to minimize this.
Stretches & After Care Advice may be given. Following guidance enhances treatment effects speeding up recovery.
